In early January I acted as DIT/Assistant Editor on a collaboration between Aldi and the Telegraph to create Britain’s Fabulous Foodies 2015 competition. A three-round cook-off consisted of eight exciting new talents on the UK’s cooking scene using Aldi ingredients to produce their best possible dish.
Filmed at the renowned Leiths Cookery School over 3 days, I managed rushes from 3 F55's shooting almost continuously throughout an 8 hour day. I then converted all the footage into Pro Res Proxy files before moving it into Adobe Premiere Pro, and setting up various multi-cam sequences that would simultaneously act as assemblies/selects of each day.
Whilst the last 2 episodes are yet to be released I think the programmes have come together really nicely, proof that having the right prep in place can create engaging content that the clients will no doubt love. Please enjoy the first episode below:
