2022 was a mixed bag for me. Some choice clients went in house, I had more days cancelled or postponed on me than ever before, and it’s still proving difficult to balance this work/life thing.

I love the work. I’m just learning it doesn’t necessarily love me back.

For the past 5 years I’ve cut an end of year reel to remind myself of the great projects I’ve worked on, but this year I decided it was time to make a new filmmaker showreel that would finally get across not only what I could shoot but who I am as a creative.

Now I hate showreels, watching them feels like a slog and largely it’s just a montage that doesn’t tell you anything about who you might be hiring. As such, I kept mine short and tried to make it personal.
